Once there was a redheaded man without eyes and without ears. He had no hair either, so that he was a redhead was just something they said. He could not speak, for he had no mouth. He had no nose either. He didn’t even have arms or legs. He had no stomach either, and he had no back, and he had no spine, and no intestines of any kind. He didn’t have anything at all. So it is hard to understand whom we are really talking about. So it is probably best not to talk about him any more.
A Russian avant-garde writer, Daniel Charms had a flair for combining the absurd with the miniature. He wrote tiny ‘incidences,’ parables commenting on daily life in Stalin’s Soviet Union. His writings reflect the constant fear of arrest, hunger, and hopelessness of his times, and are delivered with a deadpan humor impossible to quite describe.

Found this great site called Oddity Software that has a large selection of databases that you can purchase and download. The beauty of this site is that the lists are very affordable. If you’ve ever had to buy a contact list or database before these are a fraction of the cost. The other thing is that they have a HUGE selection of categories including lists that you could use to BUILD awebsite around, like “This day in history” or “Music lyrics”.
It’s also nice that they offer the lists in MySQL format along with others, and scripts to get started for the non-programming type.

The latest news says that more and more people are ditching land lines for more popular cell phones. The surge for VoIP is also paving the way for not only cheaper rates, but unlimited long distance.
Voice over Internet Protocol, also called VoIP, IP Telephony, Internet telephony, Broadband telephony, Broadband Phone and Voice over Broadband is the routing of voice conversations over the Internet or through any other IP-based network.
Several companies like Skype allow users to make calls using their computers and several businesses have been successfully using VoIP for years. Now several phone companies are also running VoIP into home to replace land lines. Vonage is an example, and they can charge dirt cheap pricing – the only disadvantage is that you hafta have a DSL or better connection.

Seems that the whole PayPerPost.com controversary has finally made it onto Digg. The idea that people can make money blogging is making a lot of people uneasy, thinking we are all just money whores and will write whatever we want to just to get paid.
Duh! Um Yeah!!
Daddy needs toys that the wifey don’t allow on our normal budget.
Plus no one every listens to what I hafta say anyways, so PISS OFF! I’m getting paid!

Cha-Ching!
So I just recently heard from a friend of the sister of a cousin of a freind who is PayPerPost.com’s founder Ted Murphy’s personal hand model coach, that Ted is a Scientologist and that PayPerPost.com is a scam to brainwash people into joining the church by putting ads on blogs.
Being that I am already a level 7 clear, it really dosen’t bother me much. But if you suddenly see Tom Cruise blogging about George Foreman grills or free iPods, don’t coming running to me saying I didn’t warn you.

So everybody has heard of the George Foreman grill and seen the television commercials right? The infomercials with him blabbering about the grease dripping away and yada yada yada right? hell, I’ll even admit, i own one. However it stays in the cupboard now mostly because of the setup and cleanup time – (My grill is faster) – but it still works well and we do pull it out occasionally in the winter when the Webber is hibernating. And to top it off I think I paid $30 tops for it.
Well now ThinkGeek.com has a USB powered George Foreman grill in original bondi blue iMac colors for sale. Using USB 2.0 technology, it provides a sophisticated web-based cooking interface and as your meal cooks, the subtle glow from under the unit increases brightness and pulses faster until your meal is perfectly done.
However at $99 I think I’ll stick to my original grill. Plus I’m not sure the boss would appreciate the smell of my T-Bone cooking in the office.

Pricepirates is a cool price comparison tool that lets you compare prices for products between different eBay listings and online store offers. It pulls in eBay bid prices and compares them against shopping comparison sites like Shopping.com and Amazon Marketplace.
The software provides ways to find the best offers for what you are searching for, and also includes tracking features and allows you to manage the results.
It even has advanced eBay search options and has a nice tabbed interface that is easy to use and allow for quick switching between results. It is also compatible with all US and international eBay sites.
I used it and discovered that a watch I thought was only available on eBay was also being sold on Amazon – and I didn’t have to pay $15.00 in shipping either.
Wish they’d come out with a Mac client also as I can only use this at work.
